The ‘secret’ to buying an Austin new home is to buy the home you want now, but also getting a model and floor plan that’s big enough for you in 2-3 years. Many Austin new home buyers make the mistake of not buying a big enough home initially (or some times just the opposite – a home WAY too expensive and big) forgetting that you get pay raises every year, or you need more room for kids or a home office.
Look at your financing options NOW and make sure you aren’t going to have to WASTE MONEY listing this house for sale in 2-3 years to buy a bigger one – that you should have bought NOW instead! You’ll have to pay a real estate commission to sell it, plus pack & move again - yuck!
